Woods suitable for dogs

There are three woods along Fodsporet which are ideal for walking dogs. They are located at Skalsbjerg, north of Dalmose and west of Sandved. Beyond the 'dog woods', dogs must be kept on a lead on Fodsporet.

Training tips

• Dogs love to use their noses. You could hide treats or things your dog would enjoy searching out.

• By climbing over tree stumps and rocks your dog will strengthen his sense of balance.

• Play hide and seek with your dog. You could ask someone to hold the dog whilst you hide. This helps to train the dog to be aware of your whereabouts when you are out on a walk.
